 This episode was a really cool tone change from the last dramatic episode where many main characters die. In this episode we see the main character David who was this scrawny kid become ripped and super super godlike in the image of other edge runners. He takes on the responsibility of captain for the team and leads the team to victory in different battles. Then we fail to keep seeing his girlfriend Lucy and find out she isn’t edge running right now because she is doing something else. This something else is deep diving to get rid of the corporate and take them down from infiltrating their code. In a world built on coding this is a crazy feat. So we see them both be going for these extreme measures and it only ramps up from there with a dramatic end to the episode of Lucy taking down elite edge runners!  This episode is where we first see someone who has been with the team the whole season become a cyberpsycho. In this episode we see Maine, the leader of the group becoming more and more mentally unstable. He is seeming to lose control as there is too much robotics in his body. This episode is super confusing and fast paced as we are getting most of the story from the perspective of Maine who is on the verge of cyberpsychosis. We see Maine pull Kiwi out of the deep dive which makes us think she just died and the tone is super on edge for the rest of the episode. Maine begins to lash out as David and Lucy get ready for another deep dive but this time with fear of Maine. As Lucy is deep diving David doesn’t keep the guy sedated and Lucy is emotionally traumatized from the experience. While all this is happening Maine lashes out and shoots his weapon at a civilian making the police on the way. There is a huge fight scene of Maine just shooting everyone and then killing his girlfriend ...

This episode was crazy and had a lot of action packed into it. We see the main character get abducted and then put into a brain dance which are these virtual reality things that you don’t know is virtual reality. It connects to every sense in your body. So he is in this virtual reality thing and his whole body is in the thing, not just simulating someone else. He gets killed in it and feels his own death not someone else’s. It is twisted and demented just as the artist of the brain dance is. The artist is super high tech and tries to kill David. His friends come and save him and it is a long action scene of him and his friends taking the drones down. They then realize they can use this artist still as bait and so don’t kill him. They use him as bait and lure in the arasaka executive. Now the team is the ones having the upper hand. 

 This was by far one of the coolest episodes so far. So much was jam packed into 20 min. In the episode we see the main character David try to get more into edge running begging Maine to give him a job. He is this eager kid and you can totally tell by the tone of his voice and how he constantly asks please (kudasai). He gets put on these little missions and slowly gets better and you see this growing development of him with the team but especially him with the main girl, Lucy. As they are running in the night we hear a little more about her past and see why she runs so much. So then they all go out to drink and we see them all hanging out and the tone is super happy and fun and light hearted. This was the crazy part of the episode as when they are standing outside and there is a cybercycotic individual that is defecating outside. One of the guys (the fifth in the picture) from the group went over to him and was yelling at him when all of a sudden he gets shot in the head by him and...
