ナルトのad

Image
The ad made the movie look super high intensity. I am unfamiliar with the show but I do know they are ninjas. とてもおもしろくてよさそうから、今ぞのえいがを見たい!The movie spoke about the nine tails which I can only assume to be either a villain group or possibly things that they need to collect to beat a villain. I noticed the main character has both of his parents. 皆さんはヘドバンがあります。分かりません。I don't know why they are wearing headbands but I assume it has something to do with their power. Also it seems like there is a lot of characters and that each have their own plot development. One of them was giving a flower to this girl. I can't wait to watch this movie! たくさんたどくが分かります。いつも as always. I was able to predict how the characters were feeling by their word choice. For one of them they used -ましょう!form and so I knew they were saying lets ----. I knew it was with passion. Another guy was professing his love with a flower and his use of words were softer. I also heard the main protagonist say 家族 which is who he...

すずめ

きのうのばん、 私はすずめのadvertisementを見たから、友達とえいがを見たいと思います。すずめのえいがはとてもおもしろそうだね。animationsをいいと思うよ。 The ad for the movie was so good. The swirling red sky and how the ad pulls you into wanting to know the story without giving much of it away. I have no idea what the connection will be for the door, the cat, or most of all how this guy turned into a chair. えいがのおんがくが大好きです。The emotions that the ad takes you through are so intense that I can only imagine the movie to be even better.  In the Ad I understood many of the words and the phrases, especially the ones the cat was saying. ねこがわがりますね。When the とり was flying in the air in the ad I heard かぜがなる, so I think that the song was talking about when it becomes windy. Then I heard the woman say かぜ again. I also heard her talk about time. たくさんwordsが分かりませんでした。I totally understood the context and emotion that the singer was depicting as well as the sentence structures.

ときどき、lyricsが分かりました!I understood time phrases like 今。I also understood a lot of vocabulary like 新しい、うた、うたえる、時間。I definitely understood a ton more than I usually do in 日本語の歌。I really liked the song, it felt like I had heard the song in English before and I wondered if she took it and translated it. The song was really soothing and definitely a good listen. Her voice was clear and soft. I think she was very talented and I definitely think the slow pace of the song allows non Japanese speakers to understand what she is saying. There are some areas where she speaks in English and so after hearing it in English in some areas I am able to predict the Japanese. I think that also definitely helped in understanding the lyrics more. Also I listened with Japanese subtitles the second time which helped me focus on sentence structures. Overall it was a great song and I think it can be used as a good way to learn some Japanese sentence structures and vocabulary.

Jeffery Angles Event

This event was super fun to be a part of! It was a great way to start the day and I learned about his story which was increasingly fascinating as he continued his story. He seemed very intelligent with how to be respectful to others while learning their language and understand where we lack the words and that it can be more beneficial to listen. I thought his poems were amazing and how he met his biological mother for the first time when he was in Japan was super surprising. His story made me realize that no matter where we think we are going to end up in life, we have no idea. There are so many things that can happen and just accepting the present moment may be much more beneficial then trying to plan out our future. I think this was made apparent when he spoke on how he became a translator and that he never thought of being a poet but just tried it out one day and now he's ended up where he is today. I wanted to try a short poem below: Gone the day goes, Drifting away and coming ...

ビデオ プロジェクト

I really enjoyed this conversation practice! It was super fun and let me get to know one of my classmates better. It is a fun little dialogue where ハイドさん comes up to me while I am working and stressed out and it leads to a conversation about us talking about going to go get something to eat at a restaurant in town. After we get there we have a little conversation about what to order which ends with us asking for our waiter. Here is the video below in 3 segments: video Link is https://files.fm/u/8nsgxqcfx The file size is too large to upload here...I don't know what to really do about this. I tried to break it up into 4 small files to make it work but I think it looks really bad so I turned it into a link!
